Three Armenian reporters get prizes from Ameriabank
YEREVAN, July 15. /ARKA/. Three Armenian reporters received prizes from Ameriabank as part of the training course on economics, finance and international economic ties theory, the press office of Ameria Group reported.
The special training course for economics reporters was held by the Caucasus Institute, initiated by Ameria CJSC consulting service on management and JTI Armenia office.
The aim of the course was to provide theoretical knowledge and develop analytical skills in reporters, along with practical skills. The training participants received certificates of completion and corporate gifts from Ameriabank.
Three best reporters received VISA Classic with a line of credit of 500,000 drams and professional bestsellers. The three winners will also visit one of JTI factories to improve their knowledge about tobacco industry and the manufacturing process.
The report says the course initiators consider it a must to hold similar events on a regular basis to promote development of economics reporters in Armenia.
The Caucasus Institute is a Yerevan-based research center aiming at broader involvement of the society in political decision making.
