YEREVAN, October 28. /ARKA/. The national philharmonic orchestra of Russia headed by Vladimir Spivakov will give concerts in Armenia on November 10-11 as part of the international festival after Aram Khachaturyan on the 110th anniversary of the composer, the press office of the State Youth Orchestra of Armenia reported.
On November 10th the orchestra will perform a concert on the 80th anniversary of the founder of Armenia’s chamber orchestra Zare Sahakyants.
On November 11 a concert will be held in Giumry as part of “Giumry – cultural capital of CIS – 2013” program.
Solo will be performed by Alexander Romanovski (piano, Italy), Vasily Ladiuk (baritone, Russia), Juliet Galstyan (mezzo soprano, Switzerland) and Hasmik Papyan (soprano, Armenia).
The concerts of the national philharmonic orchestra of Russia will be supported by the ministries of culture of the two countries and the interstate fund for humanitarian cooperation of CIS-member countries.
The international festival after Aram Khachatryan is arranged by the state youth orchestra of Armenia. –0--
