YEREVAN, January 22 . / ARKA /. The Youth Fund of Armenia will pay the tuition fees of students majoring at state-run universities who have two and more children, the Fund's programs coordinator Arusyak Poghosyan said to ARKA.
She said this way the Fund will try to assist young families, to alleviate their social problems and stimulate also the birth rate. She said compensation will be provided from the beginning of the new academic year.
"According to approximate data, there are no too many such students,” she added.
She said the Fund is implementing a number of other programs designed for young people. In particular, it holds annual competition for freshmen to receive compensation for tuition fees. -0-
