YEREVAN, October 9. /ARKA/. Yura Movsisyan, who plays as a forward for Russia’s FC Krasnodar and the National football team of Armenia, thinks his team has good chances to defeat the Italians in the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying match to be held in Armenian capital Yerevan on October 12.
“We have good chances in the game against the Italians, as we will have the support of the stadium full of fans. It always helps us. We can say that we have equal chances,” he said after the first training prior to the match.
Movsisyan specifically mentioned Mario Balotelli, Andrea Pirlo, Giorgio Chiellini, Gianluigi Buffon in the team of Italy.
“If I continue this list, I am afraid I will name all players of Italy’s team. But I think, the players I mentioned are the main powerful forwarding force of the team,” Novosti-Armenia quotes Movsisyan.
He also said the disqualification of Marcos Pizzelli and Gevorg Ghazaryan is a huge loss for Armenia’s team.
“But this is a good chance for the substitutes to prove that they deserve to play in the team,” Movsisyan resumed.
Armenia, Italy, Denmark, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Malta are listed in group B.
As of now Armenia has 3 points, Italy and Bulgaria- 4, Denmark and Czech Republic-1, Malta-0.
Armenia’s team bet Malta 1:0 and lost the same to Bulgaria. -0-
