YEREVAN, October 9. /ARKA/. A forward of Russian Nizhny Novgorod’s FC Volga and the National Football team of Armenia Artur Sarkisov said his team will play against the Italians to win only.
The 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying match between Armenia and Italy will take place in Armenian capital Yerevan on October 12.
“I don’t think that the forecasts of bookmakers are so important, we will go to the field and play to win only,” Novosti-Armenia quotes Sarkisov.
There are always chances for victory, according to him.
“We all know that Italy’s team is good, that is why we are training and set ourselves very seriously. I hope, we will be in a 100% excellent physical shape on the game,” Sarkisov said after the first training prior to the match.
Sarkisov assessed a game discipline as a very important factor for victory.
“We are not afraid of anyone, but we should be on alert with any team, that’s why we will enter the field with 100% mood and concentration,” Sarkisov added.
