Armenian national lost the 2014 world cup qualifying game 0-3 against the Czech Rep at home. The second goal was shot by Czech forward Matey Vidra in the 80th minute, and Czech midfielder Daniel Kolar made Armenian national’s defeat devastating in additional time.
“It was a game of equals, but the winner was the team which managed to shoot the first taking the advantage of our mistakes in defense”, Minasyan said in a post match press conference.
In responding reporters’ question about chances of reaching the final stage Misanyan said “What chances you are talking about?” The coach said he never aimed at reaching the final stage and that his main aim was to improve the quality of playing of the team.
Currently Italians, with their 13 points scored in five matches, are topping the group B. Bulgarian footballers have scored ten points in six matches. The Czech national team has moved up with eight points. The Armenian team’s four matches have brought them three points. Danish footballers have earned six points after five matches. The Maltese have scored no points. -0-
