Coach of Armenia’s national football team hopes to see Movsisyan in good condition in game against Czechs

YEREVAN, March 12. /ARKA/. Vardan Minasyan, the couch of Armenia’s national football team, hopes Yura Movsisyan, who plays as  the forward for the Spartak Moscow FC and the Armenian team, will be in a good condition in the game against the Czechs.

The match will be hosted in Yerevan on the Republican stadium after Vazgen Sargsyan. The tickets can be bought in the cashboxes nearby the stadium or Hummel shops.

“He has quite improved from a year earlier. Prior to the match against the Czech Republic, Yura will play another game in Russia’s league. I hope he will be in an optimal condition when it comes to the game in Armenia,” Minasyan said in an interview with Sport-Express.

Movsisyan transferred to Spartak in December 2012. In his very debut game Movsisyan scored a hat-trick (Spartak- Terek, 3:1).
Minasyan admitted he knew about Movsisyan’s talent to strike, but he didn’t expect him to score a hat-trick. He also added he was not surprised about the successful match.

“Taking into account Movsisyan’s potential, when he signed a contract with Spartak, I was sure he will play his best in the team. I hope Yura will go on with achievements. The team is new for him, but we should not forget he will continue playing in the same league  he has been playing for three years. That’s why he knows well either opponents or players and clubs,” Minasyan said.

The couch also thinks the current style of Moscow’s Spartak quite differs from that of the 90s. At the same time, the modern Spartak with its international players is prone to an attacking style. It can quickly shift from the defense to attack.

“I think it will allow Movsisyan to feel himself in the right place,” Minasyan highlighted.

Movsisyan heads the top scorers list of Russia’s league.

Armenia is listed in group B along with Italy, Denmark, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and Malta.

Italians top the list with 10 points. Czechs have 5 points. Armenia currently has played 3 games and gained 3 points.  -0-
