YEREVAN, October 12./ ARKA/. Italy’s football team coach Cesare Prandelli said today’s 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against the Armenian footballers will be tough.
Both teams want to win, and we should keep the game rhythmic, he told Novosti-Armenia agency at the press conference on Thursday.
He noted that the Italians are not afraid of the opponents, but still there are some worries.
Italy’s team, according to him, is a vice champion of Europe, but that doesn’t mean that it should underestimate its opponent.
Prandelli also said he watched the last games of Armenia’s national team which has 3-4 forwards of European level.
Armenia is a developing team, which plays carefully either in defense or attacks. “In order to win we must play high class football,” he said.
He also highlighted that he is not pleased with how his team had played in the last games, and hopes to correct the situation in the match against Armenia.
“For that, the team is actively exercising,” he added.
