YEREVAN, January 30. / ARKA /. Instigate Robotics company will begin production of UAVs in Armenia’s free economic zone at a Yerevan-based plant, deputy economy minister Karine Minasyan told a Cabinet session today.
The Armenian government has permitted today the company to deploy its operation at the free economic zone.
Instigate Robotics was said to have mastered the technology of production of two models of drones - Educotper, used for training and Photocopter used for aerial photography.
The UAVs will be exported to North America, EU states, former Soviet republics and the Middle East. The exports in the next three years are supposed to hit $1.9 million, according to the deputy minister.
Instigate Robotics cooperates with a Danish company and is in talks to attract investment for the design of automated drone control system.
The company hopes to raise up to $500,000 from foreign partners and release $396,000 of its own money
It will create 25 jobs with an average salary of 500,000 - 600 thousand drams. -0-
