ArmenTel launches Artsakh roaming service in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic

ArmenTel telecommunications company (trading as Beeline) said it has launched a roaming service called "Artsakh" for individuals, legal entities, as well as prepaid and postpaid subscribers.
YEREVAN, February 11. / ARKA /. ArmenTel telecommunications company (trading as Beeline) said it has launched a roaming service called "Artsakh" for individuals, legal entities, as well as prepaid and postpaid subscribers.
It said the cost of incoming and outgoing calls to Armenia for subscribers in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh is 45 drams per minute.
"This new offer allows our customers to take advantage of simple and convenient service while in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic," ArmenTel CEO, Andrei Pyatakhin, was quoted as saying in a press release.
In order to activate the service "Artsakh" one should use USSD-request *355 # and disable *350 #. Before connecting to the service subscribers of prepaid billing system should activate the roaming by sending request #351*0000 #. The connection fee is 200 drams including VAT.
Prepaid and postpaid subscribers of Beeline, while roaming in NKR can also make free inquiry calls by dialing +37480000612 until May 31.
Beeline's roaming is available through 404 operators in 173 countries. The service "Artsakh" can not be used simultaneously with other roaming services. More information about the new service is available at sales and service offices of Beeline and at www.beeline.am.
