15th Caucasus travel show to be launched tomorrow in Yerevan
YEREVAN, February 28. /ARKA/. The 15th Caucasus Travel Show is to be launched on Friday in Yerevan, the organizers of the event said today.
The aim of the show is to spur development of regional tourism, to attract potential clients and to provide necessary information to experts, officials and other concerned entities.
Representatives of foreign travel companies will tour remarkable sites in Armenia and travel packages will be advertised and sold as part of the event.
The program also includes a labor exhibition for Armenian universities’ students and tourism schools’ graduates.
More than 75 organizations will attend the show. Some 58 of them are from Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and the remaining organizations are from Turkey, Georgia, Greece, Egypt, Argentina and the United Arab Emirates.
Representatives of hotels, holiday houses, air companies, tourism schools, nongovernmental organizations and media reporters will attend the event as well.
The 15th Caucasus Travel Show will be attended by Armenian Deputy Economy Minister Ara Petrosyan, USAID Mission Director in Armenia Karen Hilliard, Argentine Ambassador to Armenia Diego Ernesto Alvarez Rivera and representatives of tourism-related organizations.
The event is organized by Armenian Travel Bureau and an Armenian branch of a similar U.S. organization under support from Armenian economy ministry.
