Vatel school to teach hotel and tourism management to open in Yerevan

A new Vatel school to teach hotel and tourism management will open in Armenia next year, Robert Minasian, rector of the Armenian Institute of Tourism, a branch of the Russian International Tourism Academy, told ARKA.
YEREVAN, October 18, /ARKA/. A new Vatel school to teach hotel and tourism management will open in Armenia next year, Robert Minasian, rector of the Armenian Institute of Tourism, a branch of the Russian International Tourism Academy, told ARKA.
The agreement to open the school that will be affiliation of the Armenian Institute of Tourism, was signed by rector of the Russian International Tourism Academy Igor Zorin and president of the French Group Vatel Allen Seban.
Vatel Group is a large network of schools specializing in international hotel management. It has 20 branches across the world.
Robert Minasian said Henri Manian, Vatel Group director for international affairs, and Alexei Ryabov, director of Russia-based Vatel school, will be visiting Yerevan October 18-21 to learn the situation here and prepare Seban’s visit to Armenia.
Henri Manian and Alexei Rybaov will visit the French embassy in Armenia and meet with officials of economy and education and science ministries They will then present Vatel program to Armenian Institute of Tourism.
Robert Minasian said the Armenian branch of the school will be developed into the regional center. Its teachers will be trained in France. The graduates of the school will be awarded Vatel diplomas which are valid in many countries. -0-
