Armenian businessmen plan to invest $5 million in Georgia

A Russian-language semi-weekly Novoye Vremya (New Time) says, citing a report by Business Georgia news agency that a group of Armenian businessmen plan to invest $5m in the Georgian Kobuleti resort town located on Black Sea coast.
YEREVAN, January 18. / ARKA /. A Russian-language semi-weekly Novoye Vremya (New Time) says, citing a report by Business Georgia news agency that a group of Armenian businessmen plan to invest $5m in the Georgian Kobuleti resort town located on Black Sea coast.
The report says Armenian businessmen have discussed the issue with officials from Georgian Economy Ministry. It says applications for the construction of two hotels have been submitted. It is expected that Armenians will build two hotels in Anaklia seaside resort in Western Georgia. A total of $2 million is planned to be invested in Anaklia alone. Kobuleti is one of the most popular summer resorts among Armenian tourists. -0-
