Karabakh participated with separate pavilion in the international tourism exhibition in Madrid

Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) participated with separate pavilion in the international tourism exhibition Fitur from January 19-24 in Madrid, said the Head of Tourism Department of NKR Government Sergey Shahverdyan.
STEPANAKERT. February 3. /ARKA/. Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) participated with separate pavilion in the international tourism exhibition Fitur from January 19-24 in Madrid, said the Head of Tourism Department of NKR Government Sergey Shahverdyan.
“We distributed relevant literature and information material about Nagorno-Karabakh in the exhibition. We had a number of meetings with tourism specialists and representatives of international authoritative tourism companies”, said Shahverdyan.
In 2011 participation of Artsakh in the exhibitions in London and Berlin is planned.
“Such exhibitions promote the increase of number of visitors to NKR”, he said. Participation of Karabakh in such exhibitions is funded from NKR state budget.
Representatives of Azerbaijan did not participate in Madrid exhibition. Azerbaijani mass media ignores participation of Karabakh in the international exhibitions.–0—
