YEREVAN, January 9. /ARKA/. National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia and local travel companies introduce the country at Vakantiebeurs-2013 international tourism fair in Utrecht, the Netherlands, from January 8 to 13, the press office of the foundation reported today.
About 1,400 tour operators are participating in the fair.
The Armenian pavilion attracted unprecedented attention of this event participants and visitors.
The Foundation said the Netherlands has become one of the most important markets for tourism in Armenia.
At the invitation of the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia, a group of reporters from BNN, the leading TV Company of the Netherlands, traveled to Armenia and Karabakh and made a special documentary about cultural and spiritual heritage of Armenia. The abovementioned film was broadcasted by Channel 3 Travels TV program of the Netherlands.
Taking into account the growing interest of Dutch tourists in Armenia, Ukrainian International Airlines will operate Yerevan-Amsterdam-Yerevan regular transit flights through Kiev four times a week. The ticket costs €350. Tourist groups will enjoy special prices.-0-
