Jermuk, one of Armenia’s popular resorts, has room for developing winter, particularly extreme tourism, Gor Hovhannisyan, head of Armenian Extreme Club, said Monday at a news conference.

He said that in mountain skiing started developing in Jermuk in the recent couple of years.
Besides, thermal springs, which allow take a hot bath amidst snows.
Hovhannisyan stressed that local residents’ hospitability is Jermuk’s main value.
Jermuk sits in the south-eastern Armenia, 173 kilometers far from Yerevan. -0-
