Armenian companies to take part in Сhina (Beijing) international Wine&Spirits fair in Beijin
YEREVAN, November 2. /ARKA/. Armenian companies will take part in China (Beijing) International Wine&Spirits Fair in Beijing on November 4 to 6, Armenian Development Agency reported today.
The fair will spur the development of trade and economic relations between Armenia and China and will boost Armenian alcoholic drinks at Chinese market.
Three Armenian companies – Yerevan Brandy Company, Shahnazaryan Wine and Brandy House and Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory – will present their products at the fair.
China’s government has pledged support to this industry’s companies.
Trade turnover between the two countries amounted to AMD 421.5 million. Armenia’s exports to China totaled $16262.4 million and imports from China $405322.8 million in 2011.
Armenia’s main exports to China are mineral resources. China exports its light industry’s products, machinery and chemicals, construction raw materials and foods to Armenia.
Some 41 companies with Chinese capital are registered in Armenia. -0-
