YEREVAN, December 6. /ARKA/. Business to Business forum on development of Armenian tourism is to be held in Moscow in mid March 2014, Armenia’s deputy minister of economy Ara Petrosyan said.
As part of Intourmarket-2014 a Businnes to Businnes forum will be organized in Armenia’s exhibition hall, involving tour agencies and mass media writing about tourism, Petrosyan said.
One of the aims of forum is to showcase Armenian regions, the deputy minister said.
Petrosyan also reported Armenia will chair in tourism council of CIS countries next year
A regular meeting of the council will be arranged in Armenia, he said adding certain obligations have been already undertaken and agreements reached under the program.
According to ArmStat, 321,279 tourists traveled to Armenia in January-June 2013, an increase of 14.3% compared to the same period of 2012. –0--
