YEREVAN, June 17./ARKA/. All the materials collected during the two Armenian-Russian tour expeditions ( fall 2012 and June 2013) will be accessible in the special diary, Russia’s RIA Novosti reported referring to Aleksandr Zorin, deputy head of expedition tourism chair at Russian International Tourism Academy.

“The tour expedition across Armenia has become some kind of tradition. During the first expedition, the tourists visited the cultural centers to recommend them for UNESCO. The second expedition targeted the sport tourism, and Armenia can offer many interesting places in this context. To sum up the result, we will create the special diary which will contain all the materials depicting our two expeditions, related to the cultural and sport tourism,” Zorin said.

He added, in the near future, the responsible individuals will work out several options to promote Armenian sport and cultural tourism at the Russian market.

“In other words, it will be required to find a tour operator across Armenia and, by cooperating with the Russian tourism agencies, offer and sell it at the Russian market,” Zorin said.

Moreover, this expedition can motivate some other CIS states, particularly Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia, to host the analogical expeditions, he added.

Armenian Tourism Institute and Russian International Academy have jointly organized the second tourism expedition, “Path to the single CIS youth space,” in Armenia.

The expedition was  supported by South Caucasus Railways, VTB Bank (Armenia) and Republican Party of Armenia (RPA)  under the initiative of RPA Council of Women and under auspices of the National Assembly and Russian Embassy in Armenia.—0-
