1000 biggest taxpayers of Armenia send AMD 511 billion to government budget in 1st H 2019

The State Revenue Committee of Armenia reported Friday that the country's 1000 biggest taxpayers transferred more than AMD 511 billion to the government budget in Jan-June 2019, and this is 14.4% or AMD 64.4 billion more than the result of the same period a year before. According to the report, AMD 290 billion was collected in the second quarter alone - AMD 69 billion more than a year earlier.
YEREVAN, August 9. /ARKA/. The State Revenue Committee of Armenia reported Friday that the country's 1000 biggest taxpayers transferred more than AMD 511 billion to the government budget in Jan-June 2019, and this is 14.4% or AMD 64.4 billion more than the result of the same period a year before.
According to the report, AMD 290 billion was collected in the second quarter alone - AMD 69 billion more than a year earlier.
About AMD 413.9 billion was collected by tax agencies and about AMD 97.1 billion by customs agencies.
Around AMD 109.6 billion came to the government budget as profit tax, AMD 104.7 as income tax, AMD 208.8 billion as value added tax, AMD 44.7 billion as excise tax and AMD 64.1 billion as other kinds of taxes and duties.
Zangezur Copper Molybdenum Combine is topping the list with its AMD 29.5 billion transferred to the government budget in Jan-June 2019.
Grand Tobacco is the second largest taxpayer - it sent AMD 28.3 billion to the government budget, and Gazprom CJSC, with its more than AMD 22.8 billon, came third in the list.
These top three taxpayers are followed by International Masis Tabak, which paid AMD 9.8 billion in the first half of this year, and GeoProMining Gold, with its AMD 9.1 billion.
