The Armenian Conversebank has been awarded a Golden Certificate of the LEADER International Money Transfer System.
YEREVAN, January 24. /ARKA/. The Armenian Conversebank has been awarded a Golden Certificate of the LEADER International Money Transfer System.
LEADER awarded the Converse Bank in the nomination the Best Foreign Bank.
The Conversebank carries out individual money transfers with Migom, Western Union, InterExpress, Contact and UTS systems. LEADER is a fast individual money transfer system which does not require banking accounts.
Transfers are made in Euro, Russian Rubles and US Dollar. LEADER has branches in Russian cities, Moldavia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Spain and other countries. The system absorbs 15 countries and 600 cities.
The Conversebank CJSC was licensed on December 20, 1993. The bank’s shareholder is Armenian-Argentinean businessman Eduardo Ernerkian. The bank’s assets and capital totaled AMD 58.7bln and AMD 10.96bln respectively on December 31, 2007. The bank’s net profit amounted to AMD 1.4bln, the balanced profit being AMD 7.1bln. –0--
