About 19,000 estate transactions carried out in Armenia in October

Some 19,501 real estate transactions were carried out in Armenia in October, a 6.9 % increase from the same period last year, the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre said.
YEREVAN, November 28. /ARKA/. Some 19,501 real estate transactions were carried out in Armenia in October, a 6.9 % increase from the same period last year, the State Committee of Real Estate Cadastre said.
The number of transactions in October against September has dropped by 5.6 percent, says the report.
Yerevan accounted for the highest number of transactions - 33 %, and Vayots Dzor region for the lowest – 1.9%.
The central region of Kotayk accounted for 13.5% of total number, Armavir – for 10.1%, Ararat – for 9.5%, Lori – for 5.0%, Gegharkunik – for 6.5% Shirak – for 5.9%, Aragatsotn – for 7.5%, Syunik – for 3.4% and Tavush – for 3.7%.
According to the state cadastre, some 24 % of transactions were home sales and purchases and 10% of the transactions were primary registration of new-built homes.
Another 10.3% of the total number of registered transactions was on inheritance, 10.7 % were mortgage transactions, and 3.2% were lease transactions and 41.8% were other public registration. –0--
