YEREVAN, July 17. /ARKA/. David Ananyan, the head of the Armenian State Revenue Committee, said that personnel appointments in the system are not infamous – just former officials has a right to return to the system and work in a new way, Zhamanak reported on Tuesday.

However, things are completely different.

The media resource says Former corrupted officials can’t work in a new style and points out the appointment of Arthur Gasparyan as head of Bagratashen customs checkpoint as an example.

It has become impossible after his appointment to carry even permitted volumes of goods without bribes.
Arthur Gasparyan, is also known as Pitul, is a nephew of Levon Sargsyan, a prosperous businessman and former member of the parliament.

After the revolution, Gasparyan, ordinary inspector, underwent transformation into chief of the Bagratashen customs checkpoint. The checkpoint personnel say they have never seen such a shoddy bribe taker.

The newspaper says earlier, Gasparyan has been targeted in a bribery case investigation. -0---
