Air temperature to drop by 20 degrees in some regions of Armenia

Armenian weather service has warned today of sharp temperature drop in some areas of the country saying it may fall by 20 degrees on Celsius. Speaking at a Cabinet session, the head of the emergency situations ministry Armen Yertsyan said the cold spell will affect Lori, Tavush and Syunik regions as well as Nagorno-Karabakh.

Speaking at a Cabinet session, the head of the emergency situations ministry Armen Yeotsyan said the cold spell will affect Lori, Tavush and Syunik regions as well as Nagorno-Karabakh.
He said the air temperature in Yerevan and other regions of the country will go down by 10 degrees. Today’s daytime temperature in Yerevan was 17 degrees Celsius.
In a related news, Armenian ministry of agriculture urged farmers to take advantage of still favorable weather in the next two or three days to complete harvesting of grapes, potatoes, vegetables and fruits -0-
