AMD 12.3 billion from government budget spent on repairing roads in Armenia in 2017

Ashot Arshakyan, CEO of Armautodor state non-commercial organization, speaking at a meeting convened by Karen Karapetyan, Armenian prime minister, said the AMD 12.3 billion taken from the government budget in 2017 has been spent for repairing roads.
YEREVAN, January 17. /ARKA/. Ashot Arshakyan, CEO of Armautodor state non-commercial organization, speaking at a meeting convened by Karen Karapetyan, Armenian prime minister, said the AMD 12.3 billion taken from the government budget in 2017 has been spent for repairing roads.
In his words, 46 kilometers of interstate roads and 69 kilometers of roads have been repaired.
He said that the repair of Yerevan-Yeraskh-Goris-Meghri was completed in 2017.
Arshakyan said that AMD 15.1 billion is earmarked from the budget for roads in 2018, where AMD 6.5 billion and AMD 1.9 billion for repair and AMD 6.7 billion for servicing.
Some 72 kilometers of roads are planned to be repaired in 2018.
Karapetyan, on his side, said that the volume of the work makes a small part of demand in road-construction area and pointed out the necessity of increasing this part to 88.6 kilometers. ($1 – AMD 483.01). -0---
