Ameriabank acted as the main financial partner of a new plant of Spayka agro-holding for the production of cheese and other dairy products, the bank said.
YEREVAN, March 27. /ARKA/. Ameriabank acted as the main financial partner of a new plant of Spayka agro-holding for the production of cheese and other dairy products, the bank said.
The opening ceremony of the plant on March 26 was attended by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. The cost of the plant’s investment program is $15 million. It has created 120 new jobs.
Spayka used Ameriabank’s financial support for its greenhouses and for the construction of the plant. In the near future, the bank will also assist the company in issuing bonds.
Spayka shipping company, founded in 2001, has been exporting and selling fruits and vegetables to Russia, CIS countries and Europe since 2007. The company is also engaged in the production of packages, including boxes and pallets from foamed polystyrene. It is the leading agricultural holding in Armenia, dealing with multifunctional agricultural production.
