Ameriabank begins issuing cards with OTP PIN codes

Ameriabank began issuing cards with OTP (one time password) PIN codes without PIN envelopes.
YEREVAN, June 18, /ARKA/. Ameriabank began issuing cards with OTP (one time password) PIN codes without PIN envelopes.
The bank said from now on its cardholders will be able to set the PIN code for their bank cards themselves after receiving a one-time password to their phone numbers registered with the bank.
In addition to other features, cardholders with OTP passwords may no longer apply for card reissue if they forget their PIN code. With the help of any Ameriabank ATM, the forgotten PIN code can be replaced with a new one.
