Ameriabank is the first bank in Armenia's financial market to offer electronic signature to its individual clients.
YEREVAN, December 20. /ARKA/. Ameriabank is the first bank in Armenia's financial market to offer electronic signature to its individual clients.
“This is another important step in the process of digitalizing the bank’s services, a move that will significantly contribute to reducing customer service time for a number of services and reduce also the amount of paper used,” the bank said in a press release.
The electronic signature so far applies to all documents required for opening and servicing an individual customer account; issuing, providing and servicing a bank card; execution and cancellation of warranties of authority; transactions for the receipt, activation, modification or termination of applications in online banking, mobile banking and telephone banking systems.
The electronic signature is part of a cooperation of Ameriabank with IUNetworks LLC. For the time being the clients can take advantage of this opportunity only when being serviced at the bank's Kamar branch.
"This opportunity will gradually become available in all branches of Ameriabank, and types of transactions certified by an electronic signature will be expanded," the bank said.
