Ameriabank launches mega project to digitize its services and is developing new digital banking products

Ameriabank has launched a mega project, designed to digitize its services and by the end of the year it will offer customers in Armenia a string of new digital banking products, Artak Hnesyan, Ameriabank CEO and Chairman of its Directorate, told reporters today.
YEREVAN, October 4. / ARKA / Ameriabank has launched a mega project, designed to digitize its services and by the end of the year it will offer customers in Armenia a string of new digital banking products, Artak Hanesyan, Ameriabank CEO and Chairman of its Directorate, told reporters today.
He said the first product – the online scoring-based lending- was launched at the beginning of the year, and two more digital banking products are set to be launched in November.
According to him, all new services are available in the bank’s branches, including the new office, located in Kamar Business Center, which hosts also the head office of the bank. Hanesyan noted that an environment with innovative solutions is created in the business center, while the head office has one of the best databases for storage of information about the bank’s activities.
"In addition, we have created a special atmosphere for our employees to enjoy not only work, but also relax. More precisely, each floor has a conceptual decoration: the architects have combined the elements of the old Yerevan’s architecture with elements of industrial downtown, green city and modern innovative technological image," he said.
Hanesyan stressed that each floor has recreation areas, rooms for business meetings in a new style and design. He said the Kamar branch, located on the first floor, provides all banking services, including access to deposit cells. There is also a separate room for premium-class customer service.
The $40 million worth Kamar Business Center has been operating in downtown Yerevan since April of this year. At the moment it is almost full: the building houses offices of well-known companies, diplomatic representative offices and the head office of Ameriabank.
The main feature of the business center is the combination of two historic buildings that were located on this site almost 100 years ago - the Agricultural Bank and the old building of the Tiflis Commercial Bank. Incidentally, when designing the building, the architects decided to combine these two historical buildings with an arch and the tree of life. As is known, Kamar means ‘arch’ in Armenian. At the same time, the elements of old buildings can be seen in the interior design of the building, where even part of the old building is harmoniously interwoven with elements of modern design.
In addition, the design of the entrance door of Ameriabank has preserved the old coat of arms of the Tiflis Commercial Bank.
