Ameriabank opens first branch in Hrazdan, offers new clients preferential service terms
YEREVAN, October 6. /ARKA/. Ameriabank has opened today its first branch in the town of Hrazdan, in Kotayk province. Located at 139, Andranik Avenue, the branch will work from 9.30 to 17.00 from Monday to Friday.
The branch will offer preferential service terms to all those individuals and legal entities that become Ameriabank clients by opening an account at the branch until December 30, 2021 inclusive.
Following a growth strategy
"Ameriabank has a clear growth and development strategy. The main focus of the strategy is to serve customers by using digital and technological channels and tools. Considering the pace of expansion of our client base, we are also expanding our branch network," said Arman Barseghyan, Ameriabank Retail Banking Director.
According to him, Ameriabank is opening branches in those settlements where the largest number of clients live.
"Hrazdan has become another town where there was a need to open a branch, taking into account its potential and the local enterprises. This is the fourth branch, opened this year, and the first one outside the capital Yerevan. Three were opened in Yerevan in the shopping centers Dalma, Erebuni and on Mashtots Avenue," Barseghyan said.
He noted that the Jermuk branch was also expanded in 2021. By the end of the year, Ameriabank plans to open another rather large branch in the administrative district Malatia-Sebastia in Yerevan.
“The opening of five branches testifies to the bank’s development dynamics and the activity of clients and business. Ameriabank is one of the largest banks in the country, not only in terms of digital indicators, but also in terms of offering high-quality services. More than 90% of our operations are carried out outside the branches, so you can imagine what level of digitalization we are talking about," Barseghyan said.
He promised that the process will continue. In the future, branches will be opened in other towns where there is a client base, although priority is given to digital technological solutions: online systems and platforms.
"By combining them, we will get ecosystems in which our clients can satisfy their basic needs, including non-financial ones," Barseghyan said.
Barseghyan reminded that quite a large part of the Armenian population does not use banking services yet. Thus, the opening of branches in the regions in the coming years will contribute to the development of the economy, increase income, and reduce the "shadow" economy. And Ameriabank will expand its physical and digital presence in order to properly serve the population.
Comfort and innovation of the new branch
The head of Ameriabank’s Branches and Contact Center Andranik Khachatryan, in turn, noted that the Hrazdan branch is the second in Kotayk region and is quite comfortable and beautiful, with innovative solutions and technologically equipped.
"Thanks to this, we will be able to provide high level services to clients. In connection with the opening of the branch, we offer a number of preferential terms to our new clients, both individuals and legal entities," Khachatryan said.
According to him, individuals are offered one debit or credit payment card (one year serviced free of charge), free Online/Mobile banking services, a free account number with a full package of services, a VISA sticker with an annual service of AMD 1,500 instead of AMD 3,000.
"Legal entities will use Online/Mobile banking services free of charge and two top managers of the company will receive one payment card each (one year serviced free of charge), as well as a Business card with free annual service," Khachatryan said.
He said the Hrazdan branch will raise the quality of services to a new level. Khachatryan said also that conditions for online and offline services have been created in the Hrazdan branch with ATMs and a payment terminal. The branch will provide the full range of the bank’s services.
“Nine jobs were created; most of the employees live in the region. We hope that with the development of the business we will be able to increase the number of jobs,” Khachatryan said, expressing hope that all clients will be satisfied with the quality of services in the new branch.
Tamara Navasardyan, one of the first clients of Hrazdan branch, stated that its opening can only be welcomed. She started using the services of Ameriabank in Dilijan and Abovyan.
"It is very easy for me to cooperate with Ameriabank. I have been carrying out transactions with cards and loans and have been paying a loan by installments for three years," Navasardyan said, adding that Ameriabank brings good luck.
