Ameriabank unveils Ameria time deposit in Armenian drams at higher interest rate

The Yerevan-based Ameriabank has unveiled today a new Ameria deposit product, saying it offers higher interest rate on time deposits in the Armenian drams.
YEREVAN, June 7. /ARKA/. The Yerevan-based Ameriabank has unveiled today a new Ameria deposit product, saying it offers higher interest rate on time deposits in the Armenian drams. According to a bank’s press release, the offer is part of its promotional campaign ‘Live the Armenian Way’.
It said the offer will be valid until June 30. It said also the annual interest rate on Ameria deposits in drams is 9.5%. Deposits are not subject to replenishment, reduction or withdrawal before the term end.
The minimum deposit amount is 200,000 drams, and the maximum is 10 million drams. Deposits are accepted for a period of 366 to 730 days with an annual interest capitalization. The tax on interest income is 10%.
The bank recalled that as part of the promotional campaign ‘Live the Armenian Way’ it announced a tender on May 23 for the procurement of Ameriabank’s corporate gifts for 2020. The tender is for domestic manufacturing companies that meet the conditions of the competition, which has been extended until June 29th.
