ARG not to pay dividends on shares for 2012

Armenia’s Russian-controlled national gas distributing company ArmRosGazprom (ARG) decided at its latest shareholders general meeting not to pay dividends for 2012 because of $64.9 billion dram worth losses suffered last year.

YEREVAN, July 1. /ARKA/. Armenia’s Russian-controlled national gas distributing company ArmRosGazprom (ARG) decided at its latest shareholders general meeting not to pay dividends for 2012 because of $64.9 billion dram worth losses suffered last year.
The general meeting of shareholders, which was held on June 30, also approved the annual report and the balance sheet of the company for 2012. The shareholders' meeting elected also the Board of Directors.
On the same day the Board of Directors reelected Valery Golubev as board chairman. Armen Movsisyan was reelected as deputy board chairman.
ArmRosGazprom is the only supplier of Russian natural gas to Armenia via Georgia. The company was founded in 1997. Russian Gazprom holds 80% of the company and the rest is still owned by the Armenian government. ($ 1 - 409.90 drams). -0-
