YEREVAN, February 7. /ARKA/. The office of Armen Sarkissian, Armenian president, reacted Thursday to Adequad party's accusation that he has some share in Knightsbridge company, which has investments in British Petroleum in Azerbaijan and Turkey.

The office states that neither Sakisyan personally nor members of his family have ever made direct or indirect investments and that they have no intention to do it.

"Armen Sarkissian has never been a shareholder at British Petroleum," the presidential office says in its statement. It says that, according to Sarkissian's official biography, he had been senior advisor at the company, and in accordance with his contract, Caucasus was beyond the frames of his activity. Besides, British Petroleum is an open joint stock company, and all its shareholders are known.

As for Knightsbridge Group companies, with one of which Sarkissyan was connected once, it has stopped existing long ago. Not a single company of this group has ever invested something in British Petroleum's projects in Azerbaijan. -0---
