In World Economic Forum ranking, Armenia is ninth among top ten countries for starting business.

YEREVAN, November 9. /ARKA/. In World Economic Forum ranking, Armenia is ninth among top ten countries for starting business.
The ranking is based on the World Bank’s Doing Business-2017.
Armenia here is the only country with а higher-than-medium revenue. Remarkable is that Armenia was fifth in a similar ranking one year earlier.
The ranking is topped by New Zealand, where businesses can be established in less than one day.
New Zealand is followed by Canada, where only two procedures are needed to start business, and Hong Kong, which improved its rank by one notch thanks to cutting fee for registration of businesses.
Macedonia came fourth in the ranking, Azerbaijan fifth, Singapore sixth, Australia seventh and Georgia eighth.
In Doing Business 2017, Armenia improved its rank this year by five notches to 38th among 190 countries under review. --0----
