Armenia and China are considering opening of direct flights between the countries, the Armenian Economy Ministry said, adding that the issue was discussed today by Deputy Economy Ministers Ani Ispiryan, Armen Arzumanyan and Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Yong Fan.

YEREVAN, September 16. /ARKA/. Armenia and China are considering opening of direct flights between the countries, the Armenian Economy Ministry said, adding that the issue was discussed today by Deputy Economy Ministers Ani Ispiryan, Armen Arzumanyan and Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Yong Fan.

According to the Ministry of Economy, the meeting focused on expanding economic cooperation in various areas. It was noted that the launch of direct flights would not only contribute to the development of bilateral tourism, but also strengthen business ties.

In order to increase mutual recognition in both countries it was proposed to organize joint exhibitions. Sisian Poghoseyan, the chairman of Armenia's Tourism Committee, was present at the meeting with the Chinese delegation at the Ministry of Economy. --0--
