YEREVAN, April 16. /ARKA/. Armenia’s State Revenue Committee (SRC) and the Iranian Customs Service signed April 15 a memorandum of understanding, which calls for exchange of information on the customs value of goods and vehicles going through the customs borders between the two countries.
The SRC said the memorandum lays the foundations for the correct determination of the customs value of goods and vehicles.
In addition to the agreement on the exchange of information on the customs value of goods, the memorandum provides for an opportunity to effectively organize customs supervision of goods transported across the border.
The SRC said also that more favorable conditions have been created to intensify the bilateral trade, in particular, by means of tracking down and revealing evaders from paying customs duties, taxes and fees. -0-
