Armenia asks Russia for additional entry permits for bus drivers

Armenia's Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has asked Russian authorities for additional entry permits for Armenian bus drivers engaged in charter passenger transportation, Deputy Minister Armen Pambukhchyan wrote on his Facebook page on Monday.

Armenia's Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology has asked Russian authorities for additional entry permits for Armenian bus drivers engaged in charter passenger transportation, Deputy Minister Armen Pambukhchyan wrote on his Facebook page on Monday.
Bus drivers engaged in charter passenger transportation between Armenia and Russia protested today outside the government building as the term of their permits to enter Russia ended.
"We have already asked the Russian side to provide us with entry permits," Pambukhchyan said.
He also said a working group will be formed to discuss all the details and complaints concerning conduction of tenders for licenses to carry out this type of activity. Armenian drivers making charter travels to Russia must obtain permission to enter Russia for every travel.-0-
