Armenia's anti-trust agency has ruled to fine the Alco Import Export LLC to the tune of 32 million drams.
YEREVAN, November 26. /ARКА/. Armenia's anti-trust agency has ruled to fine the Alco Import Export LLC to the tune of 32 million drams. The State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC) denied in a statement today media allegations claiming that the authorities fail to see the breaches made by the company.
SCPEC said also that it had imposed another fine on the company in 2019 for unfair competition. ($1 - 476.82 drams) .- 0-
SCPEC said acting on a report of the State Revenue Committee, it had launched administrative proceedings against Alco Import Export back on August 9, 2019.
Under an October 22 decision on copyright infringement of Russian Moskvinprom, particularly, for production and sale of products very similar to “FIVE LAKES” and “WHITE BIRCH” vodkas, the company was fined in the amount of 16.2 million drams.
SCPEC said also that it had imposed another fine on the company in 2019 for unfair competition. ($1 - 476.82 drams) .- 0-
