YEREVAN, February 4. /ARKA/. Armenia's State Commission for Protection of Economic Competition has conducted a monitoring in the sugar market and has found a number of irregularities in the market's wholesale and retail segments, the press office of the Commission reported on Tuesday.
In particular, the antitrust agency said that there is suspicion that Alex Holding, Alex&Holkding, Armen-Hasmik, City, Nor Zovk, Eureka Group, Majid Al Futtaim Hypermarkets AM and SAS Group have entered into a collusion and, abusing their market dominance, set discriminatory prices in a clear breach of the law on economic competition.
The antitrust agency decided to commence administrative proceedings over the mentioned offences. -0---
