YEREVAN, January 18. /ARKA/. Mihran Poghosyan, head of Armenian Justice Ministry’s Service for Mandatory Execution of Legal Acts, speaking Wednesday at a news conference, said he stopped doing business immediately after he took state office in 2007.

“It is not a secret that I had engaged in business since 1995, established Catherine Company and achieved considerable success,” he said. “I quitted the business yet in 2007, when I was appointed as deputy chief bailiff.”

In his words, he is now only the owner of Catherine Company’s building and other buildings leased to some trade outlets.

“Today my business is limited to this,” he said adding that he is satisfied with this.

Rumors were going around that the chain of Fresh supermarkets and three Catherine shops belonged to the country’s chief bailiff.

In early December 2011 Fresh supermarket chain was swallowed up by the network of Star supermarkets. -0---
