Armenia’s domestic trade fell 4.7 percent in the first seven months of the year when compared to the same period last year, totaling about 1.2113 trillion drams, the National Statistical Service (NSS) said.

YEREVAN, September 4. / ARKA /. Armenia’s domestic trade fell 4.7 percent in the first seven months of the year when compared to the same period last year, totaling about 1.2113 trillion drams, the National Statistical Service (NSS) said.
Retail trade accounted for about 58.5% or 708.7 billion drams of the total domestic trade, representing a 6.2% decline over the same period a year ago.
Wholesale trade accounted for 38% or about 459.9 billion drams of the total, a 2.1% decline from the year before.
Some 70.8%, or 502 billion drams of the retail trade was reported by stores, while consumer goods fairs accounted for 43.7 billion drams or 6.2% of the total retail trade. ($ 1 - 485.49 drams). -0-
