Armenia’s domestic trade in the first four months of 2016 fell by 0.8% year-on-year to about 601.1 billion drams, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS).
YEREVAN, June 3. /ARKA/. Armenia’s domestic trade in the first four months of 2016 fell by 0.8% year-on-year to about 601.1 billion drams, according to the National Statistical Service (NSS).
Retail trade is said to have accounted for about 56.8% or 341.4 billion drams of the total domestic trade. If compared to the same time span of 2015 the figure was down by 4.6%, the NSS said.
Wholesale trade grew by 5.7% to 40%, or about 240.5 billion drams of total domestic trade turnover.
According to statistics, 75.7% or 258.5 billion drams of the retail trade was reported by stores and supermarkets, while 22.9 billion drams or 6.7% by consumer goods markets. ($ 1 - 477.99 drams). -0-
