YEREVAN, January 30. /ARKA/. The State Food Safety Agency affiliated to Armenia’s agriculture ministry intends to conduct this year more than 1,160 inspections in organizations supplying and selling foods, the agency’s press office reported on Friday.

The agency’s scrutiny will target 813 economic entities classified as high-risk organizations, 291 classified as organizations with mid-degree risks and 83 low-risk organizations.

The inspections in these particular entities have been prompted by the results of the scrutiny carried out in 2014, by complaints and other information received by the state agency. The agency keeps its eye on 295 organizations supplying and selling foods.

There are 58 organizations supplying meat and fish, 110 bread, 75 milk and 20 meat products among them.

The agency warns that it will conduct also not planned inspections if it receives complaints against one or another organization or gets information from other organizations. ----0------
