Armenian airports handled more than 238,000 passengers in December, 2019

Armenia's Zvartnots international airport in the capital Yerevan and the Shirak airport in the second-largest town of Gyumri handled 238,066 passengers in December, 2019, an increase of 6% when compared to December, 2018.

Armenia's Zvartnots international airport in the capital Yerevan and the Shirak airport in the second-largest town of Gyumri handled 238,066 passengers in December, 2019, an increase of 6% when compared to December , 2018, Armenia-International Airports, a company that runs both airports, said today.
According to the press service of the company, the passenger flow through Zvartnots international airport increased by 6% to 213, 953 people, while the passenger flow through the Shirak airport in Gyumri grew by 7.1% to 11,280 people.
The company said also that since the beginning of 2019, the passenger traffic through both airports increased by 10.9% to 3,169,144 people. Also, the number of take-offs and landings at both airports increased by 13.7%.
Armenia International Airport is managed by the Argentinean American International Airports, owned by Eduardo Eurnekian, a citizen of Argentina of Armenian descent. –0—
