YEREVAN, March 20. /ARKA/. Armenian Economy Minister Tigran Khachatryan, speaking Thursday at a press center in the Single Information Center, pointed out the competitive advantages of Armenia and local businessmen in “the new world” after stabilization of the situation with coronavirus.

“The competitive advantage of Armenia is that we will make great efforts in order to understand new opportunities faster in the new situation, and so that our businessmen with these new opportunities will feel the support of the Armenian government to a greater extent,” he said.

According to the minister, this is exactly the advantage that the Armenian private sector can have in the new world for gaining new positions.

He emphasized that, for its part, the government, first of all, will try to understand and suggest to the private sector those windows in the new emerging economic reality that will allow Armenian business to take a stronger position in foreign markets.

“Governments will also compete so that in the new world the respective national economies have more stable positions and are stronger. We will do this, understanding well that this is also a matter of our responsibility,” summed up Khachatryan. -0-
