YEREVAN, June 24. /ARKA/. Armenia’s state food safety service banned production of ‘Chanakh’ cheese by Alagyaz cheese factory, the press office of the service reported..
The studies revealed cases of production of a cheese unsafe for human consumption. “Chanakh” cheese samples examined in the laboratory were found non-compliant with the government requirements to milk, dairy products and the manufacturing process (http://ssfs.am/hy/main/content/id/249).
The company has been instructed to rectify the situation and ensure compliance with the technological requirements throughout the production process. The company is obliged to recall the entire run produced on 05.05.2014, to launch a pilot production of that cheese and submit it for laboratory tests.
The deadline for rectification is July 7, 2014. –0--
