Armenian-French economic forum to be held in Yerevan during Hollande’s visit

An Armenian-French economy forum will be held in Yerevan in the framework of France’s president Francois Hollande’s state visit to Armenia, the press office of the Armenian Development Agency (ADA) reported.

YEREVAN, May 12. /ARKA/. An Armenian-French economy forum will be held in Yerevan in the framework of France’s president Francois Hollande’s state visit to Armenia, the press office of the Armenian Development Agency (ADA) reported.
Round-table discussions on trade and services, infrastructure and equipment will take place as part of the forum. The Trade and Services discussion on agrobusiness, healthcare, tourism, services, high technologies and environment will be attended by Armenian ministers of healthcare, agriculture and economy.
The roundtable on Infrastructure and Equipment will discuss transport, telecommunications, urban planning, public services, water supply, energy, logistics, electronic services and insurance. Armenia’s vice-premier and the minister of urban planning, as well as the French minister of foreign trade are expected to make reports at the discussion.
The forum is organized by the Armenian Development Agency and the French Embassy in Armenia. The sponsors of the event are the Yerevan Brandy Factory and ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK.
France president Francois Hollande is arriving in Armenia today for a two-day state visit invited by his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan.
The two presidents are expected to have a tete-a-tete meeting first, then to hold extended-format negotiations. Documents are planned to be signed for further development of the bilateral cooperation in a number of fields. Sargsyan and Hollande will give a joint press conference afterwards.
Serzh Sargsyan and Francois Hollande will pay floral tribute to victims of the genocide against Armenians at Tsitsernakaberd monument.
The presidents will attend the concert of world-famous chansonnier Charles Aznavour at Sports and Concert Complex after Karen Demirchyan.
A state dinner will be held in honour of France’s president at the Presidential Palace.
The presidents of the two countries will participate in the opening ceremony of a park after the national hero of France and eminent poet Misak Manushyan. In addition, the presidents are going to visit the construction site of the French company Carrefour's hypermarket where they will familiarize with the works being implemented. –0—
