YEREVAN, August 2. /ARKA/. Armenian importers of cars from the United States to face major problems, Zhoghovurd reports. According to the daily, their personal pages in internet will be closed on August 20. This means they will not be able to take part in car auctions.

The paper reports that access to Japanese car auctions is closed for already one week, and pages of the majority of car importers were blocked a few days ago. Only few economic entities still stay afloat, but it doesn't know for how long.

Experts explain the situation by the increase of customs duties on new cars that is expected to come into force on January 1, 2020. -0---
