YEREVAN, February 9. /ARKA/. Armen Sargsyan, the presidential candidate put up by the ruling Republican Party of Armenia, is convinced that mining industry and agriculture are not promising segments of Armenia’s economy, Irates (Realist) reports.
According to the media resource, Sargsyan’s “mates” in Armenia are skeptical about oil or gas exploration here, and Sargsyan thinks there is absolutely no room in Armenia for successful farming because of the lack of relevant soil.
“Find here land plots to develop agriculture,” he said in privy.
Remarkable is that Sargsyan owns 400 hectares of peach gardens in Kazakhstan.
“He’s right – it has taken heaps of time to find several hectares of normal land for Eurnekian for vines for wine business,” said the newspaper’s source.
He added that after Armen Sargsyan will become Armenian president, he will embark on development of information technology industry. --0---
