ArmRosGazprom, Armenia’s Russian-controlled gas operator, sustained larger losses in 2012 than in 2011, according to its CEO, Vardan Harutyunyan, who declined to specify when talking to local reporters today.

YEREVAN, June 7. /ARKA/. ArmRosGazprom, Armenia’s Russian-controlled gas operator, sustained larger losses in 2012 than in 2011, according to its CEO, Vardan Harutyunyan, who declined to specify when talking to local reporters today.
According to the latest data, available on the company’s official website, the company’s combined earnings last year amounted to 147.3 billion drams (VAT not counting), while its expenditures totaled 158.7 billion drams (VAT not counting). The losses amounted 11.4 billion drams.
ArmRosGazprom is the only supplier and distributor of Russian natural gas to Armenia. Some 80 percent in the company that was founded in 1997 is owned by Russian Gazprom, the rest –by Armenian government. ($ 1 - 414.92 drams). -0-
